Yesterday was the last day of the GEPI process, and what a day it was! We broke all records, as for attendance, in both our programs !! One thing that most candidates with whom I interacted with, before each session of the process, did talk about, was their amazement at the Placement performance of the Institute and current students.. when quite a few reputed B Schools are struggling, SIBM Pune’s performance has been stellar, both in Final Placements as well as Summer Internships..the credit for which goes to our superb Placements Team ( PAT )!

We knew the day yesterday was going to be long and hard, so, just to add a little color and flavor to the process, we decided to have some enjoyment of our own, before and after the day’s process! Starting off with a live South Indian Counter for breakfast, we had a completely different menu for lunch, and a wonderful cake cutting ceremony at the end of the day, to commemorate the efforts of our Aspirant Relations Team ( ART )… a time when faculty, staff and students got together to celebrate the efforts of the students during the conduct of the process..

The process has gone off so smoothly and practically without a hitch… the credit goes to our faculty, staff and students! We have had a record number of candidates who appeared for both the MBA flagship and the MBA ( Innovation & Entrepreunership ) program… finally, the 10 intense days of the GEPI process are over, and we can now start on all the backend work for the declaration of merit lists on the 26th…

And it will be back to routine work from today… we will definitely miss the GEPI process, and more than the process, the coming together each day, as a family, that we did for the last 2 weeks…

But then, that’s life, and routine work, ( of academics, evaluations, MDPs, consulting, research and publications, planning for the next year, preparing for NBA accreditation, Alumni Meet in Delhi etc 😀 )… here we come… and once again a sincere thanks to our wonderful full Admissions Team!
