There have been a series of reunions and mini reunions this year, in multiple places… Goa, Hyderabad, and yesterday, 9 of us from Pune, Delhi, and Bangalore got together for a mini re-union in Pune at the Decan Gymkhana club…The evening was full of old and not-so-old memories, funny incidents, checking up on batchmates in, and not so much in touch… a wonderful time was had by all !! The astonishing thing is, out of a batch of just 60 students, more than 40 of us are on a WhatsApp group and very much in touch with each other…

This is one of the takeaways that I kept telling aspirants during the GEPI process… SIBM Pune is one Institute which never passes out of you, even though you may pass out of it… and the power of networking is so critical… I never tire of saying the same thing again and again, your network is your net worth…

SIBM gives you precisely that… a whole batch full of friends whom you can call on at any time… and it is indeed so endearing, that a senior alumni will have no compunction in sitting down with a junior one, or even a student from SIBM Pune, and chatting away….. the bond between them becomes so apparent…. and it is a lifelong bond!

Aspirants, I would urge you to consider this as one of the biggest takeaways that you can take from SIBM Pune… apart from all the plentiful others!! Proud to be an alumnus of SIBM Pune!!
