I had today with all merit listed students from the 1st Merit List for the MBA and MBA ( Innovation and Entrepreneurship ) programs….

Almost 180 + students attended the session, which went on for more than 2.5 hours today… we discussed a lot of things about SIBM Pune, from it’s origin, 45 years ago, to its culture, academics, recreational facilities, campus life, student life itself, and so many other things that it is impossible to list down..

What was wonderful was the way we connected with each other and also the way they also connected with their to-be batchmates… this is indeed what we want! The objective of these Guftagu sessions is indeed to make all our students feel at home, get them familiar with the Institute and each other, so that when they arrive, they feel absolutely at home! After all, SIBM is indeed a home away from home!

What was also wonderful was that right from the start, there was no hesitation at all on their part in asking questions, and they were perfectly at ease when doing so… also showed their urge of excelling in their professional life, either in the corporate world or in having their own start ups… personally, I am very happy with the interactions today, and I am looking forward to their coming physically on campus!!

We will be organizing Guftagu in the first week of every month, so the next one now will be in the first week of April..
