And it was but natural that he visited his Alma Mater, SIBM! Navaneet has also authored a book, “Unmasking the Real You,” which he was kind enough to present to me… We spent quite some time reminiscing about the old campus at S.B. Road, where we both studied, of course, me quite a few years before him 😀! We had so many old memories of the old campus to share that time passed by in a flash!! Dr. Nilesh Kumbhojkar who came with him, also added a few anecdotes of his own!

I think this is what SIBM does to you… once you are here, you are hooked for life… such is the culture, that though I met him for the first time, it felt like it was 2 old friends meeting after a long time !! SIBM is indeed fortunate to have literally thousands of alumni who are so attached to it… and who answer the call of the Alma Mater whenever required, with alacrity… it was so evident in the GEPI process, when all it took was one call, and they put aside everything for us.. some actually said that they will come only if we didn’t offer any honorarium… SIBM is indeed blessed to have all such alumni.. the real strength of the Institute!!
