Mr. Amit Malik, Chief People Officer, Aviva life Insurance India Limited, interacted with the MBA Batch 2017-19. Mr.Malik graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is a management graduate in Human Resource from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
Mr. Malik is the Chief People Officer at Aviva life Insurance India Ltd. In his current role, he leads the People function and plays a significant role in contributing to and facilitating the achievement of the strategic business goals of the organisation by ‘partnering’ for success with key stakeholders (shareholders, internal and external customers and alliance partners).
He has the responsibility for strengthening HR Business Partnership, building a dynamic, vibrant and meritocratic culture and instilling a sense of pride and ownership and accountability in employees’ actions. He has over 16 years of work experience and prior to joining Aviva has worked in HR leadership roles at Bank of America, Royal bank of Scotland, American Express and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. He has undertaken regional assignments in Malaysia & Sri Lanka during his career.
His session was on applying classroom theory in real life and was immensely useful to the students
