I am happy to share with all of you that Mr Rajesh Hurkat, an SIBM Pune Alumnus from the Batch of 2004, has recently been promoted as Senior Director – Human Resources at Mattel, Inc.

He will Head HR for Manufacturing sites globally and will be based out of Hongkong

Mattel, Inc. is an American multinational toy manufacturing company founded in 1945 with headquarters in El Segundo, California. The products and brands it produces include Fisher-Price, Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Polly Pocket, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Masters of the Universe, American Girl, Thomas & Friends, and WWE. The company has presence in 40 countries and territories and sells products in more than 150 countries. It is the world’s second largest toy maker in terms of revenue, after The Lego Group.

Mr Rajesh Hurkat,  has been associated with Mattel, Inc. for over 2 years now and previously held the role of Head HR South Asia (South East Asia & India). He has over 15 years of Human Resources experience across sectors in organizations like Vodafone, LafargeHolcim, ABG UltraTech Cement and Mondelez International. He has won several laurels such as 101 Top HR Minds in 2019 and 100 HR Achievers Award in 2018.
