India Didactics Association (IDA) chose SIBM Pune as the final winner of IDA Education Awards 2018.

SIBM Pune was chosen as the Winner of IDA Education Awards under the category Experiential Learning Award. Experiential learning takes various forms – co-ops, internships, research, community engaged learning and other educational activities that encourage students to learn by doing. The purpose is to not simply transfer knowledge but create it, by providing real life skills to the students that reflect the demands that will be placed upon them in a complex, information-age, technology-driven and competitive economy and society. This could include acquisition of cross-disciplinary skills, exposure to and interaction with other global student communities, international collaborations, exchange programs etc.

The IDA Education Award Ceremony was held on 4th October 2018 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi and on hehalf of SIBM Pune Dr V V Ravi Kumar (Dy. Director – SIBM Pune ) accepted the award
