Ed-Vantage, an online Leadership Talk Series organized for the students of SIBM Pune, was an endeavor to bring them closer to the industry through conversations with stalwarts, who are making their presence felt in the corporate world.

The series that began in the second half of May this year, spanned over a period of over 2 months and featured 25 distinguished industrialists representing a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, IT/ITES, E-Commerce, Agribusiness, Travel, Retail, FMCG, Energy, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services.

The series featured charismatic leaders such as  Mr. Manish Dureja (MD and CEO, InterMiles – Jet Privilege Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Parag Satpute (Managing Director, Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd.), Mr. Devndra Chawla (CEO & MD, Spencer’s Retail Ltd. and Nature’s Basket), Mr. Arvind Mediratta (MD and CEO, METRO Cash and Carry India) and Mr. Indrajeet Sengupta (Executive Director and CHRO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd.) who shared leadership lessons with the students.

The initiative also featured successful leaders including Mr. Nand Kishore Chaudhary (Chairman and MD of Jaipur Rugs), Mr. Serge De Vos (Senior Director Operations-Finance, Commercial & People at Anheuser-Busch InBev), Mr. Raman Ojha  (MD at Shell India), Mr. Akshat Mohindra, (Global Account Manager at Cisco Systems India) and Mr. Abhishek Misra (HR Leader at Rockwell Automation Inc.), who spoke on various topics of relevance.

Ed-Vantage proved to be an excellent learning experience for the students who got a glimpse into the corporate world through the eyes of the esteemed speakers. The lessons learned will be carried with them for the rest of their lives.
