It all started with an article in Business Today that dwelled upon the scope of doing an MBA from a prestigious B-school. It was read by my father when I was just in my 6th standard and since that very day we shared the dream of me doing an MBA. However dreaming about it was one thing and fulfilling it another. The preparations started in full swing and then the exam seasons commenced when we all appeared for all the major exams. One of them was SNAP wherein thousands of students fight for a very few seats. Through this, I managed to secure a GD-PI call letter from the prestigious SIBM Pune.
Appearing for the interview of the best B-school in Pune was a unique experience altogether and then finally after crossing all these barricades I landed up at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. Cocooned up isolated at the top SIBM is a city in itself which is away from the city but is always buzzing with activity. The early morning classes, evening chai time and the long walks at night- all have a different charm to it. Above all this, the breathtakingly beautiful view from the hilltop is the best part of this campus. The hi-tech infrastructure and the serene campus is topped up with amazing friends who make this journey so much more fun and the highly cerebral faculty who give us much more than just textbook knowledge.
It has been just 20 days on this campus and it feels like this journey is going to be a great one which would help me take my learning curve to an altogether different and would also give me the requisite exposure and practical learning. Looking forward to these two years ahead…!!!
