The Human Resources industry has evolved greatly when it comes to trends and adopting technology. The third edition of HR Conclave hosted by SIBM Pune saw the coming together of eminent personalities from the corporate world who engaged in a vibrant discussion on Embracing Agile HR – Responding to Disruptive Trends. In her keynote address, Ms. Anita Pai, COO at Yes Bank, shared her key insights on the topic “Augmenting Human Capabilities in the age of Artificial Intelligence”.

The first panel was centered around the theme of  the day and moderated by Mr. Amit Chincholikar, Global CHRO, Tata Global Beverages Limited & featured Mr. Binu John, GM-HR, Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting, Mr. Ranjit Jose, Director HR, Diageo Business Services India and Mr. Navneet Prasad, Executive Director – HR, at KPMG India.“Agility is the new currency. Our wallets can be heavier if we create learning agility”, remarked Mr. Prasad, Executive Director – HR, KPMG India. The keynote speakers along with the rest of the panelists put forth their unique thoughts and ideas in what turned out to be successful and well-received conclave. Mr. Jitendra Paturkar, General Manager – HR, Cummins Inc. presented the certificates to the winners of Crescendo 2019, a case study competition -Team Gymnasts and Runners-up, Team Third Degree. We also had among us Mr. Amit Malik, Chief People, Operations & Customer Services Officer, Aviva Life Insurance India Ltd. who addressed the audience on the topic “Balancing HR and Technology: Gearing Up for the future”.

The second panel discussion had at its core – “Building an Agile organisation through Agile HR” and was moderated by Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Founder & CEO, Dare2Compete  & featured Mr. Arvind Usretay, Director-Talent & Rewards, Willis Towers Watson, Mr. Amit Jain, Associate VP-HR, PeopleStrong, Mr. Rajesh S Malik, Director HR, Deloitte & Mr. Kunj Sanghvi, Co-founder, InsideIIM. In the last keynote address, discussing the role of HR in organisation agility, Mr. Subhankar Roy Chowdhury pointed out that HR must help build learning agility in employees which is pivotal when tectonic shifts like M&A and Business Model changes come up.
