While we often ( perhaps too often 😀 ) talk about all our engagement with the corporate world, and how Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune has such great partnerships with it in multiple ways, the one part we rarely talk about is how SIBM Pune is silently contributing to the Government of India….
Apart from training civil servants through YASHADA, where we are running the Special Foundation Program for UPSC cleared civil servants, and where we will be training MPSC officers later on, one small initiative we undertook recently was the analysis of data and the interpretation of the same, for the Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme, ( PMIS ) which is due to be launched shortly, and which will benefit a large number of students..
3 institutions, IIM-B, DSE, and SIBM Pune were tasked for this critical activity by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, MCA, through the National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) and I am happy to inform that SIBM Pune played a major role in this! The data analysis and interpretation submitted by us will be a part of the presentation made to the Hon’ble Prime Minister, and which he will use when he launches the scheme! SIBM Pune is proud to have played this small role for the benefit of students of our country!!
