The second season of Hourglass at SIBM Pune
The second season of Hourglass was successfully conducted on 30th January, 2017 in association with ‘Startup Oasis – An initiative of RIICO and CIIE’. The competition involved solving a case based on FreshVeg – A Fruits and Vegetables Supply chain Business, in the short span of 1 hour.
The competition judged the ability to analyze and understand the situation and come up with a creative yet feasible solution under pressure situation. Over 100 registrations from various prominent B schools of India participated and the results were declared on 12th February, 2017 and 3 teams finally emerged in the TOP 3 list.
The Winners were Team: Kabaddi Kings from SIBM Pune comprising of Abhishek Shrivastava, Ankur Gupta and Bhupinder Singh 1st Runner Up was the t eam: Pareshan from NMIMS, Mumbai comprising of Pritam Mukherjee and Somen Sengupta and the 2nd Runner Up was the team Triple Bottom Line from SIBM Pune comprising of Srinath Bharadwaj, Akshat Sharma and Siddharth Mehrotra
