You too can contribute for this cause by -‘The Pink Box ‘
Sanjana Pai an MBA – I&E – Batch of 2018 is the founder of The Pink Box – a product in the menstrual hygiene space.
The goal of Pinkbox is to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene among the less privileged section of society and make sanitary essentials accessible and available to them. This year’s World Menstrual Hygiene Day, celebrated on May 28th, Pinkbox has launched a campaign – ‘Gift a Pack of Pads!’.
Any one can contribute a pack of sanitary pads, for only Rs. 35, which will be gifted to a girl in need. One pack of pads will cover a girl’s sanitary requirement for one month. The more packs contributed, the more young girls will be benefited! Pinkbox have partnered with a community service organization to aid them in this campaign. The sanitary pads raised through this campaign will be personally gifted to the child by them.
They launched this campaign on 20 th May 2019 and and in under 48 hours, they have already raised contributions for over 500 packs of pads! Thier target is to raise at least 2000 packs before Tuesday, 28th May 2019.
I wish Sanjana Pai and www.thepinkboxindia.com all the very best for her initiative
