It felt so special to be invited for the inauguration of the pickleball court in the Lavale hill base campus today… and once there, who could resist playing a couple of games as well ?

To be honest, today was the first time I picked up a pickle ball racquet… 😉!! And playing in the evening, in the open air, with a lovely breeze… was indeed wonderful!! Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has always been known as a health promoting University, and the University campus has amazing sports facilities for the holistic development of students… Our Pro Chancellor, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar Mam, and Provost, FOMHS, Dr. Rajiv Yeravdekar Sir, have always been in the forefront of this… special mention must be made of the efforts that Dr Rajiv Sir has always taken, for the “healthy” benefit of students…. both physical health as well as mental health… !!

#SIU is indeed a caring University, which truly believes in our motto #Vasudeiva #Kutumbakkam… where we treat students, faculty and staff as part of the Symbiosis family, and try to look after their well being .. I am absolutely sure that students will simply love this new addition to our facilities… I must also mention Nayana Nimkar, Director, #SSSS and her team at the #DSRW, #DrBeulah and #ShwetaSharma, and all the others, who spare no effort to try and make our University healthy.. it’s an amazing team!! And also very sporting of Dr.Alaka Chandak who joined in with her spouse for a game as well!!
