‘Market place becomes class room’ Experiential Learning at SIBM Pune
The MBA(I&E) program had a focus on experiential learning and students are always given an opportunity to hone their entrepreneurial skills.
The ‘Live Project’ is the first semester of MBA(I&E) is an ‘Integrated Academic Assignment’ having integration of 4 courses namely – Entrepreneurship, Operations management, Marketing Management and Organisational Behaviour. This 7 days live project (14th August to 20th August 2018) made the MBA(I&E) students to run actual business.
The focus of the project was to make them understand the nuances of running business at a micro level. The faculty members had on site discussions and the ‘Market place became class room’
The student groups presented their project details and shared their learning with mentors and this became a part of their graded assignment. Prof. Yogesh Brahmanankar took special interest in mentoring the students while they went with the live project.
