Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning (GLCOLL) is a program by invitation from Harvard Business School(HBS) for select members. I (Dr R Raman) was fortunate to be invited to attend the program by HBS.

GLOCOLL is designed by HBS management faculty and based on ongoing discussions with leaders at top business schools around the world, this unique program help an academic to become a more effective and more innovative management educator.

By exploring the best methods in practice-based learning and rethinking personal assumptions about what constitutes effective business teaching, an academic educator will be able to improve management education in the classrooms and across the institution that they head / are incharge!

The PART -1 of GLOCOLL was held at Harvard Business School – Boston (USA) in JULY 2018 where the focus was on Participant-Centered Learning and PART -2 was held in Shangai ( China) in MARCH 2019 where the focus was on use of case based methodology and case Writing

To produce the innovative, inspired, and visionary leaders that institutions need today, business schools must rethink the learning process and their management education curricula, while retaining their distinctive methods and traditions. This two-session colloquium provided a platform to improve the learning model by building a global community of management educators who are committed to innovative teaching and course design.
