Although several factors are considered while choosing a B school, Placements, Package offered along with the Profile remain the most important aspects while a student selects a B school to pursue his/ her MBA in India.
SIBM Alumni have been maintaining the legacy of brand SIBM Pune in the corporate world which helped the Campus Recruitment Programme 2015-16 at SIBM Pune to conclude on a high note with record number of job offers secured by students in myriad sectors viz. FMCG/ FMCD, Consulting, E-commerce, BFSI, Telecom, Manufacturing and Technology, Information Technology, Pharmaceutical, Infrastructure, etc. 90% of the MBA 2014-16 batch secured placements within the first three days of the commencement of the placement season. SIBM Puneβs unrivalled reputation was complimented with a record 77 organizations vying for the best talent in this yearβs recruitment programme. The key statistics of CRP are given below. Although a startup made the highest offer of 27.65 LPA, it was not accepted by the student and hence the highest offer accepted stood at 21.00 lakh. . The higest international offer that was made( and accepted) was 30.00 LPA by a consulting firm from Japan
MBA (I&E) students created start-ups while they pursued their MBA ( I&E) programme at SIBM, Pune and the same can be viewed at http://www.scei.org.in/startups.php. In addition to creating their startups, almost every one opted to join the corporate world.and secured offers from blue chip companies, consulting and E-commerce giants via the CIRP process at SIBM, Pune. 95% of the MBA (Innovation) 2014-16 batch secured placements within the first three days of the commencement of the placement season.
As on date the placement percentage has been 96.15% for MBA 2014-16 and 95.00% for the MBA (Innovation) 2014-16.
