A highly emotional day yesterday, when 20 alumni of the 1983 batch of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune came together to wish our beloved Chancellor, SIU, Dr. S. B. Mujumdar Sir, on the completion of his 90th birthday, which was celebrated recently…
As his students from 1981, everyone had some story, some anecdote, to share with him.. which I am sure would have revived Sir’s memories too… and the best part was that there was no agenda for the small function that we had arranged… only to meet Mujumdar Sir and seek his blessings!
Alumni came from Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Satara, Mumbai and of course, Pune… only to spend a little time with him, and hear some words of wisdom from him.. And he did not disappoint… indeed gave us much to think about and ponder upon…. What else is vision, but this! Our tributes and salutes to the person who made us what we are.. just like thousands and thousands of other students!
