SIBM Pune played host to . as a part of The Economic Times Young Leaders B-School Edition 2017.
The framework of Economic Times Young Leaders competition 2017 was laid out at the beginning of the session. The competition, which is open for second year MBA students, will take place in four stages- Personality test, Aptitude test, Functional test consisting of a live case study and the final being a CEO Round. The competition is unique as it provides an opportunity to work, interact and network with senior leadership from Aditya Birla Group.
Mr. Anand Naik started off his session- “Life lessons in leadership” with analogies drawn from Dr. Satish Dhawan’s ISRO career- his failures and successes. He spoke about how business graduates tend to forget their technical education and how it should instead complement their future education.
“The three core values of a leader should be competency, courage and communication”, shared Mr. Naik. He quoted examples from his own past and cemented the importance of these values in the minds of the students present.
Mr. Naik expressed concerning the future of cyber security in India and signed off after a brief question and answer session with the students.
