SIBM Pune students emerge as National Runners up in the Johnson & Johnson’s Quest
SIBM Pune team titled ‘Johnson Babies ‘ comprising of Akash Tolani, Dipesh Otwani, Srishti Hatte and Neeraj Jha, were national runners up in the national finals of Johnson & Johnson Quest.
QUEST is one of the most challenging and live project opportunities throughout the year for the top B schools in the country. Teams get to work on a live challenge faced by Johnson & Johnson Consumer. This year’s project of the fifth edition of Quest was based on Aesthetic dermatology and cosmetology, a sector under the purview of Janssen – the pharmaceutical wing of Johnson and Johnson. It was loaded with Market visits, consumer interactions and mentorship from senior level managers at Johnson and Johnson.
This year as many as 49 Teams participated in the competition at national level. The competition comprised of three rounds spanned over three months with increasing levels of difficulty and elimination in each round. The shortlisting was done through a campus round where students had to make a pitch presentation to be judged by panelists as the college faculty and J&J marketing heads. The final round had 3 teams, one each from SIBM Pune, IIM Lucknow and SP Jain where they had to present their work to the J&J Leadership team.
SIBM Pune team, Johnson Babies, received a whopping cash prize of 50,000 Rupees. The college is proud of their achievement and wishes them all the best for the upcoming competitions
