MBA students from Royal University of Bhutan – Gaeddu College of Business Studies at SIBM Pune !!
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune hosted MBA students from Royal University of Bhutan – Gaeddu College of Business Studies from 6th October 2016 to 12th October 2016. A series of academic and cultural programs were organized for the students.
The students enjoyed sessions on India and Indian Innovation, Opportunities in South East Asia and Design Thinking. The students were delighted when they visited Infosys, Pune and Cummins India Limited .
To get the feel of Indian culture the students were taken to Choki Dhani, a traditional Rajasthani model village in Pune and also were given an opportunity to explore yoga and meditation through theoretical and practical sessions .
As a part of the program, the students had opportunity to explore Pune city and places of historical importance. They also had a trip to Alibaug beach.
Academic sessions were taken Prof. Yogesh Bhrahmankar, Prof. Sandeep Bhattacharya , Prof. Bala Ramadurai and Prof. Poornima Tapas and Prof. Ritesh Katwani. The event was meticulously planned by Prof. Dr Mallika Srivastava and Prof Yogesh Brahmankar with unstinting support given by Ms.Margaret Dsouza.
SIBM, Pune students will be visiting Bhutan during 2017 to lean more about Gross Happiness Index. 91.2% of Bhutanese are extensively happy and hence it will a great learning experience for them.
