18 MBA (Finance) Students and 2 Faculty members from Gedhu College of Business Studies from Bhutan visited SIBM Pune for a week. This student exchange program was from 5th March to 11th March 2018. Prof.Tsagay and Prof.Tenzin Rabgay accompanied the students. Dr. Chetan Panse and Prof. Yogesh Brahmankar were programme coordinators for this visit.
The exchange program was a mix of Academic sessions and field visits. As a part of field visits, the group visited Bombay Stock Exchange, Infosys Ltd and Cummins India Ltd.
Academic sessions on
‘Leadership’ was handled by Dr. R. Raman, Director SIBM Pune
‘Opportunities in Asia Pacific Region’ was handled by Prof. Sandeep Bhattacharya
‘Session on Design Thinking’ was handled by Dr. Bala Ramadurai. SIBM
‘Bloomberg Champions’ also conducted a workshop on Bloomberg
As part of cultural exposure the group was taken to Pune Darshan tour and Chokhi Dhani, a Heritage Resort.
The students from GCBS were really happy to spend time in the campus with their Buddy members from MBA(I&E) and they appreciated the mix of Field visits and academic sessions where BSE visit was most appreciated.
