Godrej Loud is a platform that was set-up for first year Post Graduate Programme students of select recognized B schools in India, by Godrej- to help them live out their biggest personal dream
SIBM Pune was abuzz as Godrej Loud was on campus on 18th and 19th July 2016. The DAY 1 started with a surprise, with the digital wall set up to allow students to express their feelings about their dreams and Godrej Loud.
Two of SIBM’s alumni, Ms. Roshni R, Manager Communication Design Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. and Mr. Punit Thakkar, Manager Sales and Marketing Godrej Properties Ltd. along with Ms. Rajvi Shah, Assistant Manager Employer Branding Communication Design Godrej Consumer Products Ltd were on campus for the event Ms. Rajvi shah was very happy with the buzz created and expressed that SIBM, Pune Godrej Loud was “LOUDest amongst all campuses”.
DAY 2 of the Godrej Loud Launch at SIBM-Pune was bustling with energy and excitement .The guests included Mr. Parmesh Shahani – Head, India Culture Lab at Godrej Industries, Mr. Sunil Kataria – Business Head, India and SAARC and Ms. Vandana Scolt – Head, Communication Design . SIBM-Pune students went for a flash mob leaving the guests both surprised and delighted at the lively and sprightly enthusiasm of the students.
Guests reiterated that they never received such a pronounced response from any of the campuses in the past. The guests explained that people make many sacrifices along the way, and Godrej Loud inverts the Maslow’s Pyramid of Hierarchy envisaging that self-actualization comes first. In a way, by sharing their own dreams and fears, they connected to the students and created an environment that was jovial and full of life. The creative campaigns on social media by SIBM Pune students was recognized by Godrej, and prizes were given to the winners.
“No dream is big or small” was the undertone of the launch. It was a fun-filled event, a memorable one for many and an inspiring one for everyone.
