Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune (SIBM) emerged as the winners of the Pune semi-finals of the BLoC Boardroom Challenge, which took place on Friday, at the SIBM Pune  campus in Lavale. Participants in the victorious team were Geetesh Makkar, Nikhil Shukla, Shivam Aggarwal and Shivani Deshmukh.

The runners-up team — comprising Jayraj Dashani, Ameya Prabhudesai, Neel Chokshi and Vaibhav Chitalia — was also from SIBM Pune

The corner office, presentations, discussions, data analysis, ideation, problem-solving, troubleshooting, team-building — this is the daily life of most CXOs. This contest aims to put B-schoolers in the shoes of a CXO for a day and tackle a challenging business problem. Their objective is to solve it with fellow board members, compete with other equally capable teams and come out on top as a winner.

BLoC Boardroom Challenge 2019 was open for students of all the top B-schools, including the IIMs of the country.
