SIBM Pune expresses deep sense of gratitude to Mr. Abhishek Bharti, husband of Late Chitralekha Pati (an alumna of SIBM Pune -Batch of 2004) who helped in institutionalizing Ms.Chiralekha Pati Gold Medal for Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune  

We at SIBM Pune fondly remember Ms.Chitralekha as an extremely bright student, outstanding HR professional, a trained classical vocal singer, a passionate and presentable anchor. We lost Ms. Chitralekha Pati, on July 5th, 2018, as she could not survive fighting a rare and very aggressive form of cancer.

‘Ms.Chiralekha Pati Gold Medal’ will be awarded to a deserving student who gets highest CGPA in HR specialization pursing the full time MBA programme from SIBM Pune. This will be implemented from the year 2019 for a period of 10 years ending in 2029. SIBM Pune will have a running trophy with a memento / certificate for further ten years from 2029 to 2039. All this will be done with the endowment given by Mr. Abhishek Bharti.

The award will be conferred every year on the Management Day, which is a unique flagship event and an important day in the student life of SIBM Pune .
