What a day and what a day !!
Starting with an activity by the Department of Sports, Recreation and Wellness for our students ( remember, we are a health promoting University !! ), we moved to highly interesting and engaging panel discussions with our very own alumni, specialization wise!! We had panel discussions on Marketing, Finance, Human Resource, Operations and Supply Chain, and Data Analytics… these are meant to give our fresh students insights about what to expect if they choose a particular specialization- career growth and prospects wise..
Today’s sessions were particularly engrossing, with students getting their doubts and queries answered..coming from own alums, who have now risen to a mid level rank, and so are very contemporary, made the exercise so relevant… our sincere thanks to all our alums who came specially for the incoming batch today.. we are highly obliged… and of course it is so nice to see them do so well!!
For our MBA ( I & E ) batch too, we had rocking sessions from entrepreneurs and one special session by women entrepreneurs… I am sure our students must have gained immensely from them!! It was a very satisfying day indeed!! More so, when you have close to 25 alumni coming and interacting with the fresh batch!! SIBM alums do have a special bond with their Alma Mater!!
