MBA( I&E) students visit the first FABLAB established in India

As a part of experiential learning MBA( Innovation and Entrepreneurship) student from SIBM Pune visited Vigyan Ashram and Fablab at Pabal, Pune.

The students of the MBA(Innovation and Entrepreneurship) 2018-2020 batch visited Vigyan ashram located in village Pabal, in Pune district. Vigyan Ashram houses first FABLAB established in India and the student were briefed about the pre-built projects like solar chulla, rice weed separator, dome dryer, Wire binder, Mushroom dome, etc, Students also got exposure to hydophonic farming and poly-house.

Students underwent workshop on 3D Modelling where they learnt how to design 3D Models on software. All the students created prototypes and printed them using the 3D Printer. Students also learnt different technologies and fabrication techniques including laser cutting. During their stay, the group also learnt the aspects of ashram life. Mr. Kishor Hirde, Information Officer at SIBM Pune accompanied the students for visit.
