SIBM Pune hosted Mr. Amit Prakash (Batch of 1999), Chief Human Resource Officer, Marico Limited for a leadership Talk in which he shared learning from his career spanning over two decades.

He spoke at length on why it is essential to know oneself in order to become a successful leader. He also focused certain personality traits every leader should have. These include being humble; having the appetite to learn every day; and having the ability to listen keenly.

He also encouraged the future leaders to become credible in an organisation, be ready to put the organisation ahead of personal gains, and be eager to connect with and talk to new people. In the end, he also stressed on the importance of being agile, being flexible and last but not the least, being disruptive.
