SiBM, Pune experience – The Best Moments
When I started off my preparations for MBA entrances (CAT, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT etc.), like everyone else there were a few colleges which I had shortlisted as the ones I would like to get into. SiBM of Symbiosis International University was always a prominent part of that list and I am one of the lucky few who were able to bring that dream/aspiration/desire to fruition.
Ever since reaching Lavale campus on the first of June I have been living what I had already lived in my head a few months ago. We have had an amazing induction into SiBM, guest lectures by eminent dignitaries of the corporate field, specialization specific counselling by alumni to help decide how to go forward with the next two years, industrial visits, talent rounds and so much more. The talent round especially was really enjoyable and was a quick way for many of us to bond and become friends. At the Best B school in Pune there are amazing facilities one can avail of. I have been particularly making full use of the professional level badminton courts and have been indulging in other sporting activities as well (Squash, Cricket, Football, Pool, Table Tennis etc.) which apart from keeping you healthy also make for good networking places. Catching up with friends post dinner with walks around the campus is also an activity that all of us here really enjoy.
It has been a week since the classes have started and it has been an amazing 7 days. Each faculty is really well informed not only in her/his own field but even with worldly affairs which is really impressive. I have taken a liking to all the subjects and am willing to put in good efforts to extract the maximum out of these two years.
For those who are seriously considering doing an MBA from an excellent B-school then an MBA in India is synonymous with MBA in Symbiosis.
