It feels so nice when old students come and meet you!
Got a pleasant surprise today when a student of 2022 batch of SIBM Nagpur, Chinmay Kshirsagar, came and met me in Pune today… the best part of being a teacher is probably the life long bonds one forms with students… I still have students from the 2006-08 batch of SIBM Pune, to students from SCMS Noida, to students from SIBM Nagpur and SCMS Nagpur, who are regularly in touch with me… it definitely gives one a lot of satisfaction!!
These are things one definitely does treasure… and it is so touching when they come all the way to meet you.. as so many have done in the last few months since October 2023 when I moved to SIBM Pune… and it feels even better to hear them talk of their successes!! I guess this is what makes this profession such a noble one…
SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY and Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune have always been known as not just an eminent and top ranked University and Institute, but both are very student centric ….which same culture I have tried to build in whichever Institute I have been in…. SIBM Pune, my Alma Mater, has always had the reputation of being a student driven institute… a culture that been assiduously built up over decades… and the bonds that we have formed are indeed lifelong!!
