Is there a tear behind those smiles?
Well I must confess I came pretty close to it today, when some of my dear students, from my Student Council teams came to meet me after finishing their final semester exams.. feels so strange that the faces one is used to seeing every day on campus, with whom one has worked together every day, with whom one has shared so many beautiful times… will now step out into the world, ready to start their corporate journey… and won’t be on campus now…
I think this is the beauty of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune … where the student driven culture is not a myth but a reality, where students occupy the pride of place in our hearts… where they blend in seamlessly with the Institute so much that it indeed becomes their 2nd home, even after they pass out… where they know that they will always be welcome, at any time.. the bond between SIBM Pune and its students is so strong and everlasting!!
As the final exams ended today, so many thoughts and memories of the year gone by ( and it went by in a flash ! ) came flooding in… on behalf of SIBM Pune I can only wish all our passing out students all the very best in their lives and their careers.. we ask nothing from them but to contribute later on to their Alma Mater and to their juniors… espousing the true spirit of the motto laid down by our beloved Chancellor Dr Mujumdar Sir… Vasudeiva Kutumbakkam… Indeed, SIBM Pune is indeed a family, which truly cares for all it’s members… faculty, staff and students… something that has been so strongly emphasized as well by our Pro Chancellor Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar Mam and Vice Chancellor Dr Ramakrishnan Raman… do well, dear students, and the best of luck to you!!
