Friends are for life… and batchmates who are friends, are even more, if that is possible!
Our SIBM batch of 1983 has it’s annual “pilgrimage” to Goa, year after year 😀…. a tradition started almost a decade and a half ago… the dates and month are fixed, the resort is fixed… it is just a question of how many will join each year… everyone puts aside all their important work as well, just to make time for those precious 2-3 days of catching up… even in the huge work of the Convocation, which unfortunately got postponed, I made a quick dash for just over a day… the work continued virtually throughout the dash… but those few moments we spent together were worth every minute 😌!!
This is a place where you can be yourself, where you are accepted as a person, not what you are or were…. friendship in it’s purest form!!
