Villgro hosts an annual event called Unconvention|L in around 15 cities of India. Unconvention|L (or Unconvention Local) is a series of conferences organised by Villgro across the country, with the aim of unearthing and nurturing social entrepreneurs, and growing the social enterprise movement deeper in India.
Each event has a pitch contest for budding entrepreneurs to showcase their idea and win cash prizes and incubation support. Since 2012, Villgro has hosted 38 Unconvention|L events in 22 cities, with 60+ partners and 4500+ attendees, 32 pitch winners and Rs 25 lakh disbursed in prize money.
I am glad to inform you that Mr.Gangadhar Jadhav, and Mr.Anoop Tandon pursuing their Executive MBA at SIBM, Pune won the Ahmedabad UNCL pitch event on 26th Mar’16.

They were among the six teams shortlisted for the final pitch. The could happen due to the unstinting support that they got from Dr. Vinod Shastri , Associate Professor SIBM, Pune. Mr.Gangadhar Jadhav and R, Anoop Tandon are now pursuing further for the incubation of their project through Villgro financial support. Their pilot unit is ready and giving great results. Currently they are in the process of constructing a commercial unit.
