Dr. Rajat Roy, Bond University Australia was at SIBM Pune.  A faculty interaction session was on the topic “Behavioural studies using Experimental Design.”

Dr Rajat Roy obtained his PhD in consumer behavior from Nanyang Business School in Singapore, a prestigious globally ranked university . His academic journey has taken him to places like USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, HongKong, Malaysia, and Mauritius either in the capacity of a researcher or a lecturer. Rajat has taught a wide range of marketing units both in Australia and at overseas locations across different countries. Some of the units that he currently controls and teaches boast of extraordinary student satisfaction.

Rajat’s research interest lies in the area of consumer behaviour. He has published in leading academic journals ( ABDC ranked A* and A) like European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Advertising,Journal of Consumer Psychology (special edition on behavioural decision theory), Marketing Intelligence and Planning along with others like Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Journal of International Consumer Marketing, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management. He has also presented in leading conferences like Association for Consumer Research, Academy of Marketing Science, Society for Consumer Psychology and Academy of International Business amongst the prominent. In 2011, he also chaired a session in the North American ACR conference. Rajat also regularly reviews for leading academic conferences and journals.
