SymEmerge, the International Conference of the Faculty of Management, SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, organized this year by Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, got off to a flying start yesterday morning! We also had a Pre Conference Research workshop on the10th by eminent scholars from George Mason University ( GMU )( USA ), and USCI University, Malaysia, and a special address by Brig Divekar, Dean, FOM, who is the Convenor of the Conference.
We also signed an MOU between SIU and GMU today, with Pro Chancellor, SIU, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar Mam and Dr Ajay Vinze, Dean, GMU, signing the same. We are deeply grateful to our beloved Chancellor, Dr Mujumdar Sir, Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar Mam and Dr Ramakrishnan Raman for taking out time today for this! We were thrilled to listen to Mr Derek O‘Brien,* MP, and Mrs Vandana Chavan, former Mayor and MP who were present for the inaugural… made possible by Dr Dr. Vidya Yeravdekar Mam! I must state here that Dr Ajay Vinze is an old friend, who has been part of the conferences organized by us since 2014, in NOIDA, Nagpur and now Pune! and it is indeed wonderful to have George Mason University – Costello College of Business as our Academic Partner for the Conference!
Eminent scholars from GMU, Aston University, UK and USCI University, Malaysia are participating in the Conference as keynote speakers and session chairs as well..in particular Dr. Ajay Vinze, Professor Pawan Budhwar, Dr Tat-Huei Cham, and Dr. Cheryl Druehl .. who conducted wonderful keynote sessions …
This was followed by paper presentations.. these will continue today all day! Looking forward to another wonderful day of knowledge creation and presentation!
