It was an absolute pleasure to meet Dr Mitalli Sethi, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate, Nandurbar, today at #Sandipani, our Leadership Development Centre on campus!

We met after a gap of almost 1.5 years, when she was the Director of Vasantrao Naik State Agriculture Extension Management Training Institute (VANAMATI) and I was heading SIBM Nagpur… VANAMATI and SIBM Nagpur had a very good relationship at the time, with students from SIBM Nagpur, from the Food and Agri Business Management Program mentoring other Agricultural college students, our faculty going for sessions there etc… even I had participated in a few events as a speaker..

As the District Collector, Dr. Sethi has very progressive plans for the district of Nandurbar, and we explored various ways in which we could collaborate. We also discussed involving other Institutes of SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY in this effort, apart from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. #SIU and SIBM Pune have always been ready to contribute to society as a whole, and this is no exception! We will look forward to working together with the Government!!
