Joining SIBM, Pune – The Right Decision
Pursuing MBA was a ‘goal’, but MBA from SIBM Pune is not less than a ‘dream’ come true.
Choosing the right B school involves several aspects to be considered and a lot of decision making. SNAP test is one of the most difficult entrances to crack, not just because of the level of difficulty of the questions, but also because of the huge number of test takers. When I got my admission letter to join SIBM which is amongst the best B schools in India, I felt elated that finally my hard work paid off.
Leaving Delhi, stepping into a new life in a new city gave me shivers. Being a fresher and living in a hostel for the first time, all the more made me nervous. But as I stepped into Lavale, the hilltop campus of Symbiosis international university, I felt at ease with its serene beauty. It is beyond reality that a place like this could be a school for pursuing MBA in India.
And then began the famous induction programme of MBA in symbiosis. The induction programme is designed in such a manner that the students not only get to know the faculty but also make friends with the batch mates. It comprises of several team building fun activities and at the same time informational sessions and industry visits.
Its faculty expertise, student driven culture, clubs and committees, placements and several other key factors distinguishes SIBM from other B schools. The excellent infrastructure comprising of the hostels, dining area, recreational activities centre, and health care centre are some of the facilities that are unique about SIBM.
It’s been three weeks here and every day I get to know something exceptional about the college. I perceive joining SIBM-the right decision.
