Ms.Kavita  is an alumnus of SIBM Pune, 1991 Batch and presently she is the “Vice President and Head HR – Units ” for few Business units at Infosys Limited based at Pune. She carries 25 years of HRD expertise.Ms.Kavita  has recently been awarded by Economic times at the HR Excellence Summit in March 2016 for her contribution to transformational leadership.

Ms. Kavita  is currently responsible for the HR Strategy and operations for Infosys business units in the renewed matrix organization, for ensuring both employee and stakeholder satisfaction globally. She also leads the HRD for all the corporate functions at Infosys.  Prior to Infosys Kavita led the HRD function at WNS global services from 2003 to  2008. She founded the company’s Sourcing & Staffing function, Learning and Development function for the Pune Location. Her last stint at WNS was as the SVP of HR and OD for all the verticals including Enterprise Solutions , Financial services and the Utilities businesses except Airlines. During her tenure the employee base grew from 800 in 2003 to 10000 in 2008 within her portfolio that was spread across Europe and APAC. During the same period the organisation grew to $459.9 MN in 2008 and her portfolio to around $150 MN. Prior to WNS she worked for thirteen years in a range of industries covering BPO, Telecom and Manufacturing.  Kavita is also a frequent speaker at business , Education and Industry forums.

Kavita holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from SIBM, Pune ( Symbiosis Institute of Business Management SIBM Pune ) and a Bachelors in Law from Symbiosis where she was also a rank holder and a Bachelor of Commerce from Pune University. She is also currently serving as the Honorary President of the NHRDN Pune Chapter.  A recent 360 described her as forthright, innovative , detail oriented. Her colleagues appreciate her for her ability to influence stakeholders through her simple workable solutions. Her strength lies in change management and project management.
