According to the Norse mythology, Valhalla is the hall where heroes are prepared for battle.

SIBM Pune, brought  back laurels from XLRI Valhalla 2016. A 37-member contingent of SIBM Pune were at XLRI Jamshedpur who participated in football, badminton, basketball, throwball, table tennis, pool and carrom.

Valhalla opened with the #SIBMPune football team settling for a draw against XIM-Bhubaneshwar. The badminton, table-tennis and the girls’ basketball team won their first match. All the teams earned the appreciation of the spectators.

Similar scenario was observed in the men’s table-tennis match against XIM-Bhubaneshwar as the players were pitted against talented counterparts.

SIBM Pune finished as runners-up in football, men’s table-tennis and women’s badminton.

This one-week long campaign was not just about playing and winning—it was more about learning and cherishing memories.
