I completed my engineering studies in Computer Sciences from NMAMIT Mangalore,
After which i was placed in Cognizant, Pune.
However I didn’t mean to settle with a job so soon and had aspirations for higher studies.
Pursuing a career in Marketing has always intrigued me, so the decision to do MBA was perceived.
Pune was being a great home to me so I thought why not look into colleges here.
While doing some research on my upcoming endeavors I deduced that
Symbiosis International University is an exemplary Institute for Management Studies and one of the best B schools in India. The target was now in sight all I had to do was take the shot. This meant cracking the SNAP and a round of interviews.
All went well and as on 3rd of June I was aboard the SIBM ship and my journey as a Management student set sail.
The monsoon had just arrived in Pune and the campus being atop a hill was a beautiful sight to behold.
To my luck I was rewarded with an overwhelming lake view room and amazing roommates.
But ironically enjoying the view was not a part of the syllabus. Pre-induction Study material was provided and studying was eminent.
After a year in the corporate world, going back to school was gonna be a task for me.
Considering the variety of people from different places, ages, educational backgrounds it was difficult to find common grounds.
Symbiosis had taken care of that too by arranging Team building, ice breaking, Talent appreciation, insightful industrial visit and other such activities got everyone acquainted.
Also speeches from visiting speakers throughout the week would enlighten us with their experiences and motivate us for the time to come.
Symbiosis has now become a home to me and even though Its little difficult to cope with the tight regime of the college, I am positive its all gonna be worth it.
