SIBM, Pune – A Journey Begins..

SIBM Pune is one of the best B-schools in the country and undoubtedly the best in Pune. It’s hard to believe that it has been less than a month since I embarked on this beautiful journey at Symbiosis.

It has been an enthralling journey so far having its fair share of ups and downs. The every moment spent has been worth the efforts it took to be here. I have worked for the Tata Technologies Limited in the past and SIBM has helped me overcome the monotony of 9-5 job life. It has been a different experience altogether coupled with moments of joy and laughter overloaded.

The awe inspiring views from every nook and corner of this institute surely make it one of the most beautiful B-school campuses in India. The inherent calmness and the serene beauty add to the wonderful infrastructure provided in the campus. The auditorium, the amphitheatre, the well maintained hostels and the wellness centre all contribute more towards helping us in becoming the leaders for the future. The initial two weeks at SIBM were truly amazing. The ice-breaking sessions, the industrial visit to Coca-Cola and multitudes of activities here speaks volumes about the efforts made by the institute to make everyone comfortable at the place which is going to be our “HOME” for the next two years. Meeting people from different walks of life has truly been helpful in gaining a new perspective to life. Numerous lectures by the industry veterans and interactions with the alumni has been really helpful in setting a definite goal for life or as Mr. Prakash Iyer said “choosing your Mountain”.

The pre-induction test was an eye opener for everyone who thought that life at the “hilltop” was all fun and laughter. It was a teaser for the film to be showcased in the days to come. I am pretty sure that with hard work on our part and guidance from the faculty we are sure to come out of this rollercoaster of a ride, better and brighter. In the end I would just like to say..
“MAY THE FORCE BE WITH US”
