About the Shuruaat Bus :  This year, the 8th annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES 2017) is being held in Hyderabad, India, on November 28-30. GES 2017 is organised in partnership between the Government of the United States of America and the Republic of India’s NITI Aayog.

As part of the on-going efforts to support and promote the Summit, we are launching the Shuruaat Bus: Enterprising India, Empowering India. The Shuruaat Bus, an official ‘Road to GES’ initiative, will embark on a journey across India to empower citizens to become creators of wealth and jobs, to make entrepreneurship a national movement.

The Shuruaat Bus will travel through the country, creating buzz and momentum at Road to GES events, incubators, start-up hubs, and colleges, before arriving in Hyderabad for GES 2017. During these pit stops, activities will be hosted in and around the bus, including pitch competitions, engaging interactions with established entrepreneurs, innovative product demos, interviews, entertainment, and awareness camps about government initiatives and incubation opportunities for young, aspiring entrepreneurs. On-ground activation will be accompanied by media coverage and the production of a documentary to capture the Shuruaat Bus journey.

Today ie. November 20, 2017, Shuruaat Bus is at SIBM Pune campus at Lavale as they journey across India to empower citizens to become entrepreneurs and job creators, by creating a mindset change as well as supporting promising ideas​​.

It is a great opportunity for SIBM Pune MBA (I&E) Entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas. On the basis of a 100 second elevator pitch competition, the winners will get a chance to win a silver ticket to Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 along with mentoring, a chance to be featured on NDTV and showcase their product based innovation to the world.
