Joining SIBM- The Right Decision

Almost 80% of students in India want to do the elite “MBA”. Generally stories begin with the protagonist being the exception and doing something unconventional. However this is the exception because I being the protagonist do fall in the 80%. A concise and compact course like MBA was the dream for me. And MBA in Symbiosis was the icing on the cake.
Who does not know the illustrious and magnanimous Symbiosis International University. They have been pioneers in providing education in every domain that there is to offer. It is an honor that I got selected to the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune which falls under the aegis of the prestigious Symbiosis International University.
A lot of students do MBA in India due the crowd mentality effect. They see that there is a huge incline of students towards MBA and they do not understand why they want to join a business school and study MBA in particular. They don’t align their course framework with their goals and soon realize that this was not something that they wanted to do. However for me, joining SIBM, was not only the right but a bang on decision. I was exhilarated when I heard that I had been accepted in the class of 2015-2017 PGDM at SIBM,Pune. To get in one of the best B schools in India is a feather to my cap that i will always don. I could not curtail my excitement and longed to come to Pune to see the campus for myself. It has been very rightly said that seeing is believing. Seeing the beauty in pictures vis-a-vis to see it in person was an enthralling experience. I was mesmerized by what I saw. Lush green campus, amazing infrastructure and the scenic beauty of the hills. To be taught by the best professors of India in an environment like this would be absolutely blissful. I knew and reaffirmed my belief that joining SIBM,Pune was one of the best decisions I had taken in my life. After I enrolled with the Symbiosis International University, time and again people asked me that how did I crack the SNAP. Obviously every MBA aspirant dreams of studying in Symbiosis and for every time they asked me how could they crack SNAP, all I would say is that it is one of the few entrance exams that is comprehensive, tests your analytical skills and most importantly general awareness. Hence, it does not only test what you learnt in the past 2 months but what you have learnt life long which shows the true testament and unlocks the potential of candidates who are not only excellent but consistent.
As every day passes my belief keeps getting reaffirmed that i took the right decision.
I am proud student of the greatest university in the Oxford of the East and I am looking forward to the most exciting, challenging and enriching two years of my life. This stint at the best B-school in Pune is going to prepare me for the rest of my life and I have made a meager attempt in portraying my excitement.
