Education has an indispensable part to play in our lives, and this quote in Sanskrit came to me as my first learning in Symbiosis International University, when I stepped into one of the best B Schools in India – SIBM, Pune. Very simply but quite crisply this quote added a new dimension to my meaning of knowledge and directed me to tread a new path which fosters bliss.
Bliss in the form of beautiful campus at Lavale, amidst refreshing natural beauty with a spectacular view made me all the more excited and gear up for this new journey of life.
First week of Induction started with Ice Breaking and team building sessions through which we got a glimpse of how sacrosanct they are in developing interpersonal skills and intellectual development.
Best students of the country chosen through SNAP, who have myriad backgrounds and professors with stupendous command over the subjects would definitely add value to me, not only academically but also intellectually. Industrial visits and numerous events gave a glimpse of how education and experience go hand in hand. Bagging the first prize in a team event and representing my class as a CR definitely added more thrill to my newly started journey.
In a short span of time SIBM has brought fair clarity on how crucial is time management, perseverance in whatever we do, right attitude development and exploring our talents to grow into better individuals.
Surely Plutarch has rightly said:-
“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled.”
SIBM,Pune does not only kindle the young minds but also ensures holistic growth of the students into the best leaders around the globe.
We all make choices, but some choices make us.
